About

Rachel is an actress, theatre-maker and qualified teacher from Middlesbrough, Teesside in the North East.   She studied BA (hons) Performance at Northumbria University in Newcastle, whilst training in London at the National Youth Theatre and National Youth Film Academy. Rachel went on to receive a full scholarship to the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts, gaining an MA in Professional Acting.

As an actress Rachel has performed all over the North, from ‘Tub Time’ at Northern Stage, ‘Coal Girls’ at Oldham Coliseum, to ‘A View from the Bridge’ at the Bolton Octagon and can currently be seen in ‘The Black Prince’ on Netflix and ‘Bin Day’ on BBC iPlayer. 

Recently, Rachel has been working on a DIY Project on Fat Performance in collaboration with Colchester Arts Centre and is currently working on her next piece ‘Fat Chance’.

Lockdown gave Rachel the opportunity to create a professional home studio and she recently became exclusively represented by Michele Daeche at The Voice Agency for all voiceover work.
