So, I was inspired by Alan Bennett's 'Talking Heads' to write 'Bin Day' just before lockdown and then it seemed the perfect piece to film last year! It's all outside, there were no other actors needed and the crew took all precautions. This was my first time writing for camera so I really enjoyed editing the script down and focusing on action rather than description with the help of the director Richard Scott. Robert Carr also did an amazing job as DOP.
It is currently being submitted to film festivals and I'm very excited about my filmmaking debut!
